About Wizard and Carcloud
Wizard is Avis Budget Group’s reservation system. It is not sold as a product, so there is no vendor to buy a website from, and most generic web agencies have never seen it. Carcloud.com has a direct connection into Wizard and has run licensee websites on it for years.

Wizard is the system of record. Carcloud reads rates, availability, locations, vehicle categories and extras from Wizard, and writes reservations, modifications and cancellations back. Rates are defined in Wizard; the experience around each rate, meaning booking flow, messaging, terms and payment method, is defined in Carcloud. Your team can view real-time logs of your own bookings in the Carcloud admin panel and use them to diagnose reservation software issues without waiting on a developer. Carcloud also keeps its own logs of every API rate request, quote, booking, issue and response time, which our support team can access to support you. The connection is maintained by Carcloud and guaranteed for the life of the customer relationship.

If you are moving onto Wizard and your website is already on Carcloud, it does not need to be rebuilt. Carcloud connects the same site to Wizard. Carcloud works with all major reservation platforms, so a change of reservation system does not mean a change of website.

In most international licensee markets, yes. Carcloud Web connects the licensee’s own site to Wizard so rates, availability and bookings stay in the system Avis Budget Group requires while the site, content and marketing belong to the licensee. Check your licence terms for your market.
